Brian and Susy get married, September 6, 2014.

"We cannot recommend Amiran highly enough. We changed the date of the wedding- Amiran made herself available, we changed the wedding location from Seattle WA to Vancouver, BC-Amiran was able to make the trek. We needed our formal pictures taken in mid afternoon sunshine - Amiran worked her magic.
From start to finish Amiran has been a treasure.Extremely competent, super flexible, refreshingly reliable and a genuinely nice person to boot. If you want pictures that you will treasure for the rest of your life and at a modest price, look no further, you have found your shooter!

"Amiran was a blessing from the beginning. After meeting with her, I knew she was our photographer...very personable with a great portfolio! The day of our wedding she was on time and endured a VERY long day capturing so many golden moments!! We also felt her rate was reasonable and affordable! We believe anyone would be extremely fortunate to have her as their photographer! The only thing I would've changed is to make sure Amiran had a break...although she probably wouldn't have taken it...so diligent! Thank you Amiran for helping make our day so special!!"

- Pam Curl

"We found Amiran online to photograph our recent wedding. We were so impressed with the professionalism and with the finished product. In addition to being an amazing photographer, Amiran was a vibrant and wonderful guest by assisting other vendors as needed. I strongly recommend Amirian to anyone who doesnt have the time to babysit the wedding vendors and who want to have exceptional results."

"My husband and I hired Amiran to photograph our courthouse wedding and she was fantastic! We love our photos; they captured exactly what we wanted them to capture - our personalities. I would highly recommend Amiran to anyone looking for real feeling in their photos. I also cannot forget to mention, Amiran was personable and quick in getting our photos to us after the wedding - no waiting for weeks on end for us.

Thanks so much Amiran and Photography in the Present Tense. :D"

-Melissa Power

"We hired Amiran to photograph our wedding on August 10th in Newberg, Oregon. We didn't want a traditional "wedding" photographer, meaning we wanted to work with someone who could blend into the background and quietly capture the spontaneous and special moments of our day. We couldn't have made a better choice. Amiran's photographs perfectly captured the joy of our wedding day. Though the day was a blur for us, Amiran's photos create a vivid storybook of memories that we will treasure forever. Can't say enough good things, really. If you're looking for a photo journalistic approach, I can't imagine anyone doing a finer job (and she's a very cool, mellow person to work with, too!). Thank you, Amiran!"

"We had Amiran come to our wedding reception in Portland on July 19. She did such an amazing job! Our photos turned out better than we expected and she perfectly captured the feel of the evening. All of our family and friends were impressed with her work and her professionalism during the event. She worked through the crowd almost unnoticed and was able to capture some great candid moments. We are very impressed and will definitely keep her in mind for any future events!"

"Amazing photos! So easy to work with. She really captures the emotions of the event with wonderful candid shots. No stuffiness or over the top traditional posing. Let us be ourselves but had great suggestions for how to make that shine through in photos."

- Micaela Chew

"My wife and I were excited when we approached Amiran about photographing our wedding. Our nuptials were going to be a bit unconventional- a ceremony in a deserted mission chapel on a tropical island with hand made decorations, a reception dinner on the beach, and a beach side celebration lit only by tiki torches and moonlight. We wanted the whole affair to be magical and realized that one of the most important choices we would make is who to have capture it in photos. We had seen Amiran’s online portfolio and as we met with her months before the wedding, we quickly realized that her background in photojournalism was going to be a tremendous asset.
We were looking for someone who could capture a plethora of candid and posed shots of a wedding group of 30 people, rapidly transitioning through several locations over mixed terrain with a lack of readily available electricity and only fluctuating natural light to shoot with…  When I think back on it, it sounds like a job no conventional wedding photographer in their right mind would tackle.
But Amiran did. When the photos came to us after the wedding, we discovered that she had managed to capture the very spirit of our wedding vacation- not just faces and groups of friends and relatives, but snapshots of island life and color, our beach gatherings – all with artistic focus and amazing light (many taken at night with the moonlight casting magic into the shot).
Amiran captured the right elements at key moments and without any assistance. I am certain, as I see more and more wedding pictures in my time, that very few people would have been able to do for us what she did. She was incredibly personable and rather than circling our group and taking pictures from an outside perspective, she got to know everyone and had a great time with us, all the while stealthily snapping the moments that mattered most. Thank you Amiran for helping us preserve a truly magical moment in our lives!"
